Roller Blinds

Modern, elegant appearance and easy to hide when not in use: The roller blind is as brilliant as it is simple. It can be used to gently filter sunlight, provide privacy, reduce glare, protect floors and furniture from the sun (UV fading), or block out all light in a media room or bedroom.

Fabrics

Grants provide a wide variety of fabrics including attractive designs and plain whites, linens or charcoals to match your design. With varying degrees of light filtering, you can choose how much sunlight to filter out depending on your needs and window exposure. Grants provide high-performance materials with solar reflective backing and can make roller blinds using the client’s own material.

Bottom Bar

The role of the bottom bar is to add weight and keep the fabric straight. Grants provide a bespoke selection of bottom bars that are either fabric covered or left exposed as a feature. For exposed bottom bars, Grants can provide them in any colour to match the interior design or to match the ceiling to be near invisible when concealed.

Operation

Roller blinds from Grants can be operated with a chain, spring and motorised. Motorised roller blinds are quickly gaining in popularity with rechargeable battery-powered blinds being a retro-fit solution. For new build homes, you can future-proof homes using our Blindspace® Boxes that are built-in during construction and prepared with electrical wiring, for the future options to install concealed motorised roller blinds.

Mounting

Roller blinds can be installed within the recess or outside recess above the window. With the addition of side guide wires or tracks - roller blinds can be used in angled windows or mounted for bottom-up style. Roller blinds can be installed with the fabric close to the glass or reverse rolled leaving space between the blind and the window.

Concealment

Roller blinds can be recessed in blind pockets, hidden behind the fascia, enclosed in cassettes which can be custom coloured to any RAL colour, or fully concealed within the ceiling in Blindspace® boxes. For roller blinds using wire guides or tracks - Blindspace® side boxes keep everything concealed for a contemporary minimalist design.
