Grants was engaged at pre-construction stages to specify screen and blackout blinds for multiple skylights, concealed by Blindspace, to provide total light control to the gallery. A unique arrangement of blackout blinds following the roofline and horizontal screen blinds for glare control, all operating beautifully and concealed when not required.
Grants specializes in integrating traditional French Pinoleum blinds into garden rooms through concealed solutions designed during construction. Early collaboration with garden room manufacturers and architects ensures flawless integration from first drawings to final build.
This glass dome features 24 motorised French Pinoleum blinds, each precisely shaped to follow the roofline. The system was first prototyped using a full-scale simplified replica of the dome in Grants’ workshop—an approach that enables a level of bespoke execution unmatched anywhere in the world.
Grants designed and manufactured custom Blindspace concealment and shaped blackout blinds to achieve true darkness across a large gable-end window and glazed doors. Fully recessed and invisible when retracted, the solution delivers uncompromised blackout without visual intrusion.
Grants provided a complete shading solution for a five-star hotel restaurant in London, covering design, manufacture, and installation. The scheme integrates multiple blind types—including French Pinoleum—to deliver precise daylight control and refined atmosphere throughout the space.
